Tobi is an Abuja-based portrait and conceptual photographer whose work centres on the interior life of the human subject. Beginning with self-portraiture less than a year ago, he has developed a visual language that is at once cinematic and deeply psychological, drawn to what the face withholds as much as what it reveals.

Working across photography, film, and video, his practice is shaped by a commitment to images that carry emotional weight rather than merely document presence. REDMAN is his first major series, a work that turns the camera not toward spectacle, but toward silence.
