Nigeria
Jimmy Junior Jerry is a photographer whose work documents heritage architecture and public space, exploring how history and modern infrastructure coexist within a single frame. His practice pairs documentary observation with a deliberately contemporary post-processing style, treating the photographic edit itself as a site of convergence between record and interpretation.
Now based in Abuja, FCT, after years in Lagos, Nigeria, he is drawn to places where cultural memory continues to shape everyday life, using photography to reveal the dialogue between inherited spaces and contemporary experience. Through his images, Jerry invites viewers to see architecture not simply as history preserved, but as history continually lived, adapted, and reimagined.
