Imaji Daniel (b. Ahoada, River State, Nigeria) is a self-taught NIgerian artist and image-maker working across photography, film, and installation. His practice investigates the African home as a site of identity, culture, and memory, tracing the connections between personal experience and the cultural structures that shape how we live, and questioning what gets inserted into history and what gets erased from it. Portraiture is the core of his visual language, built through staging and symbolism.
