Nigeria
Taibat Ajiboye is a humanitarian, documentary storyteller, and the CEO of Revamp Art Media Agency. She’s also the founder of Revamp Initiatives, a social enterprise built around empowering less privileged, marginalized, and underserved communities across Nigeria.
Through her Creative Hub in Abuja, Taibat runs capacity-building programs in fashion design, photography, filmmaking, painting, and culinary arts giving young creatives real, practical skills they can build a livelihood on. As a young creative leader, she also employs and commissions photographers, filmmakers, and other creatives from across the country, creating income opportunities while using their work to tell stories that drive social impact.
Her own work as a photographer and writer has been featured on major international platforms, including CNN, The New York Times, Reuters, and UNDP a reflection of how deeply she believes in storytelling as a tool for awareness, empowerment, and change.
One of the flagship movements under Revamp Initiatives is Seed for Change (SFC), through which Taibat leads charity, mentorship, and community-development work aimed at improving the lives of underserved populations. This year alone, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Women Development, SFC trained over 50 women in photography, videography, tailoring, culinary arts, graphics design, and other vocational skills equipping them with tools to build sustainable income. The initiative also saw the women showcase their work and products at a trade fair, giving them a real platform to launch what they’d learned into practice.
Beyond her creative and humanitarian work, Taibat is a lecturer of Biochemistry and serves as a board member at the Centre for Innovation Hub and Creative Technologies, University of Abuja bridging her academic background with her passion for creativity and social impact.
Her continued dedication to creativity, empowerment, and community development keeps shaping her influence across Nigeria’s humanitarian and creative sectors.
