Nana Nwachukwu will be at the Town Hall during the Abuja International Photo Festival. She will be speaking on the legal aspects of the business of photography.
Nana is an Executive Producer for Gatefield TV, an online media focused on creating engaging content for young people. She is a researcher with over 10 years experience as technology lawyer, a policy analyst and development specialist skilled on democratic governance, legal drafting, advocacy, stakeholder engagements and policy development for Accountability, Rights, ICT, Social inclusion, Education and Mining with focus on sustainable development.
Nana has worked as a researcher for various organisations and institutions such as the Pan African Parliament, the African Union, UNDP, OSIWA, Ford Foundation, Women in Mining, Ministry of Power, Works and Housing, Ministry of Mines and Steel development, Open Society for Justice Initiative, UN Women etc. She is a founding member of the ‘NotTooYoungToRun’ Movement.
She is a member of ITechLaw Association and International Bar Association. She has an LL.B in Civil Law and an LL.M in Intellectual Property and Technology Law from University of Liverpool as well as certifications from Harvard University, Cambridge. She is currently pursuing a degree in International Humanitarian Affairs at the University of York, England
